Headlands Beach closed for movie production
MENTOR, Ohio (WJW) – Headlands Beach State Park will be closed this week while a movie films there.
According to the Headlands Beach State Park website, the park will be fully closed on June 17, 18, 20 and 21.

Friday morning, SkyFox got a look at the Mentor Headlands Beach location, which found what looked to be military-style tents on a movie set.
Fox 8 News reached out to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for more details on the closure.
“Headlands Beach State Park and Headlands Dune State Nature Preserve will be closed June 17, 18, 20 and 21 due to a movie production. The park and nature preserve will be open June 19 for the Juneteenth holiday. As of right now, there are no other additional closure dates,” an ODNR spokesperson said.

On Thursday, Fox 8 News cameras captured a Cleveland movie crew building a set on public square for what’s believed to be the upcoming production of “Genesis.”
“Genesis” was awarded $11 million in state tax credit earlier this year and expects to hire around 3,200 local residents for production.
