Was Heather Gay visited by the Men In Black before her latest appearance on Watch What Happens Live? While she had an iconic Season 4 finale, her recent comments have left many scratching their heads. For example, why is she now insisting that The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is a show about friendship?

These women have been involved in ugly fights every single year they’ve been on air. Heather flung Whitney Rose into a wall during Season 3, for example. And Lisa Barlow trashed her supposed bestie Meredith Marks, in a Season 2 hot mic moment that rocked the Bravoverse. Sure, friends fight. But not like this.

Are the RHOSLC cast actually friends?

Now, I’m not gonna go full tinfoil hat on this one. I believe that the ladies involved in RHOSLC believe themselves to be friends. But do their actions show that? Not really! They can have as many sweet, bonding moments as they like about ousting Reality Von Tease from the group. I’m never gonna be convinced.

Friends don’t accuse one another of creating fake Instagram accounts to spread rumors about the rest of the group, for example. They also don’t suggest one of the Housewives performs sexual favors for courtside Utah Jazz tickets. Do friends chase other friends out of bars screaming about exploiting their sexuality and vagina? Not in my town.

Being civil in most situations, but throwing each other under the bus whenever the opportunity arises is a not a friendship. While the exposé of Monica Garcia brought these ladies together, it’s not going to last. We’ve seen how scrappy they can be when the gloves are off. Things are just getting started.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Seasons 1-4 are available to stream now on Peacock.
