Heather Rae El Moussa Wishes 'Bonus Son' Brayden a Happy Birthday: 'I Love You So Much'

Heather Rae El Moussa is celebrating her "bonus son" Brayden!

On Tuesday, Aug. 20, the HGTV star, 36, marked her stepson's 9th birthday with a loving Instagram tribute filled with various photos from his childhood.

"Can’t believe my handsome bonus son is 9 today. When I met you, you were still running around in diapers and you have grown up to be a strong willed, lovable, funny boy," the Selling Sunset alum wrote.

"You make everyone around you laugh. You remind me so much of your daddy and I am so lucky that I get to be your stepmom. I love you so much Bray Bray. Happy birthday love.??," her caption continued.

Along with Brayden, the reality television personality is also a stepmom to 13-year-old Taylor, who her husband, Tarek El Moussa, shares with his ex-wife, Christina Hall. Tarek, 42, and Heather welcomed their first baby together, son Tristan, in January 2023.

To honor the birthday boy even more, Heather shared photos of him on her Instagram Stories, including a sweet photo of him hugging a puppy.

"It's Bray's birthday today!! ??????I love him so much I can't believe he's 9," she wrote over the photo, which was also shared on Tarek's social media account.

Over the weekend, the birthday boy celebrated the milestone with a shark-themed party, similar to his 8th birthday celebration. The party included fun treats and decor inspired by the deep sea.

In March, Heather reflected on how all three of her kids have "made me a better person in different ways."

"I got my feet wet with Tay & Bray & then Tristan’s sweet soul chose me to be his mama," she expressed next to a collection of photos on Instagram.

"The kids have given me different perspective of life. There is a different purpose when you become a mother, you think different, you feel different. Life is more fun, but scary, I worry about things I’ve never worried about before. It’s chaotic but it’s beautiful chaos," her caption continued. "I barely rest, I never have lazy days. Some days I miss that. But the alternative is SO much better. ??"
