Heidi Klum Teases Upcoming Outrageous Halloween Costume That's 'Starting to Take Shape'
While it is only the start of September, supermodel Heidi Klum has already been hard at work on her Halloween costume for a while, and she just shared the first tease with fans.
Klum posted a new video on Instagram showing a short in-progress look at this year's costume, or at least one of them, revealing a gray-colored construction of something that looked like a turtle shell with a unique tail. The costume had two holes at what is likely the top, but nothing about the outfit is clear yet.
She captioned the video, "#HeidiHalloween is starting to take shape… ??????."
Klum is working with special effects and make-up artist Mike Marino on her 2024 costume. Marino has worked on some of Klum's past costumes, including her Princess Fiona from Shrek transformation, while he has also worked on many major industry projects. Marino even earned two Oscar nominations for his work on The Batman and Coming 2 America.
On Aug. 26, Klum shared her first sneak peek for Halloween this year, posting a close-up photo of a big fake eyeball, writing, "I see a clue of what’s to come on October 31 … can you? ???????????? #HeidiHalloween."
Any fans eager to figure out what Klum has in store this year should keep a close eye on her social media, as it looks like she might continue sharing small teases each week leading up to the holiday.
Last year, Klum puzzled fans when she shared her first Halloween look, a red cape with an alien-style prosthetic on her head before she stunned everyone with her extravagant peacock costume at her annual party.
Cirque du Soleil helped Klum bring the complicated look together, while her husband, Tom Kaulitz, came dressed as an egg. Considering fans always expect Klum to one-up herself each year, many eagerly anticipate this year's costume.
