Here’s How Andy Cohen Reacted to Trying Mya Allen’s Cookies for the First Time
Mya Allen recently revealed she has a full wait list of customers eager to try the cookies from her company, The Knead. So when Andy Cohen and the Summer House cast members received the homemade sweets on the show’s Season 6 reunion, they were beyond excited to dig in.
“I have some goodies,” Mya said on the May 16 episode as she brought out an assortment of cookies, including oatmeal raisin, oatmeal milk chocolate, oatmeal white chocolate, double chocolate, and chocolate chip.
Andy was particularly eager to try the cookies. “All right, this is what I’m talkin’ about,” he said. “You baked these yourself? This is iconic.” Once he took a bite, he was blown away: “Yum. These are really good.”
Mya shared an update on her booming cookie sales during a March interview on the We Should Talk podcast. “Right now, business is entirely insane,” she said. “I can’t put it into words! I thought I was prepared; I was not prepared. But I always wanted to do a business where I would just drop cookies similar to a Beyoncé album drop, and now I have the platform to do that. So now I have a waiting list. I’m not taking orders right now. I’m catching up!”
“I have a wait list of people who want that next drop, and I plan on doing a lot of drops around the reunion and a lot of drops around the finale to get people really excited for the end of the season,” she added. “And then we’ll continue to do that as the year goes on.”
