Dancing with the Stars Cast for Season 33
David and Victoria Beckham
David and Victoria Beckham have been one of the UK's it couples for decades. But could the two be seeing different partners on Dancing with the Stars? Perhaps it's just wishful thinking, but former DWTS champion and current judge Derek Hough did post a video on his Instagram in April of the soccer star and former Spice Girl dancing. He wrote in the caption, "Are @davidbeckham and @victoriabeckham getting ready for @dancingwiththestars? How about a couples salsa night you two ??"
Gerry Turner
Of course, it's become routine at this point that every DWTS season will feature someone from Bachelor nation. And ABC introduced one of its most popular versions of the show in years with The Golden Bachelor, which featured 72-year-old Gerry Turner as the lead finding a partner among a cast of senior citizens. Though a bit unconventional compared to previous representatives, he could be the latest to trade in his roses for a pair of dance shoes.
Joan Vassos
Another named rumored from the Bachelor-verse is Joan Vassos. The private school administrator appeared as a contestant on The Golden Bachelor, and left the season halfway through look after her daughter. The mom of four and grandmother is returning to the franchise, however, this fall as the lead on The Golden Bachelorette. According to The Daily Mail, Joan may be pulling double duty by appearing on two ABC reality shows later this year.
Jason Kelce
It truly has been a whirlwind year for Jason Kelce. The Super Bowl winner retired in early 2024 after 13 seasons in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles. His name went mainstream when his brother Travis Kelce's relationship with Taylor Swift caused the Kelce family to blow up. And DWTS pro Jenna Johnson called the former center her "dream partner" in an interview with People, saying, "He just retired. I think it's the perfect thing. If his wife wants to do it with Val, we could definitely do that. I know that he has some kids, so we could bond over parenting and stuff."
Tom Sandoval
Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval has become one of the most despised people in reality TV. The musician was in the center of "Scandoval" that rocked pop culture last year, after he was revealed to have cheated on longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix. DWTS has already capitalized on the scandal by having Madix on last season, where she finished in third place. However, former pro Cheryl Burke believes that the show is not done with the Pump Rules cast just yet. On her podcast "Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans," she reveals that DWTS uses the same casting directors as The Traitors. And so, considering Sandoval is already announced to be appearing on the Peacock series in the upcoming Season 3, he could be pulling double duty on the dance floor.
Kelly Ripa
Kelly Ripa has served as a staple of talk shows, having served as the co-host of Live! with Kelly and various panelists since 2001. When former DWTS champion and judge, and current co-host Julianne Hough was asked at the Disney upfronts who her dream casting choice would be, it was an easy answer easy. "I feel like Kelly Ripa would be an amazing person on the show," she said to People. "She's a dancer, she's vivacious. She would pick it up. She would have so much fun with it. She wouldn't take herself too seriously. So I'm rooting for Kelly to come on."
Gypsy-Rose Blanchard
Gypsy-Rose Blanchard rose to prominence in the late 2010s when she was charged with the second-degree murder of her mother Dee Dee. Then 25, she had been a victim of Munchausen-by-proxy, with her mother forcing her to pretend she was disabled and terminally ill, subjecting her to lifelong physical, mental, and medical abuse. Blanchard was released from prison in December 2023 and has taken the world by storm once again, releasing a book, going viral on social media, and even appearing on The Kardashians. While Dancing with the Stars always loves a headline grabber, Blanchard's involvement in the series may not line up, as she is currently pregnant and due to give birth in January 2025.
Sutton Stracke
Sutton Stracke is a socialite and businesswoman who has appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills since Season 10 in 2020. An anonymous source left a tip on the gossip site Bravo and Cocktails, saying, "ABC has signed the newest southern fan favorite of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills up to dance on Dancing With The Stars, her huge popularity and quirky personality will keep people entertained next season."
Parvati Shallow
Parvati Shallow is a Survivor and reality TV legend. Considered one of the best players in the veteran reality show's history, Across four seasons and fourteen years, Parvati has been behind legendary moves, winning one season and finishing second in another. More recently, she served as a star on Season 2 of Peacock's The Traitors, and made headlines when she came out as queer at the beginning of this year. Parvati has said, including in an interview with Parade, that she'd liked to participate in a performance-based reality show. Fans have also noticed that the DWTS Instagram account had favorited a video form the Survivor account of Parvati specifically back in December.
Cris Judd
Cris Judd is a dancer, choreographer, and actor. He's most well-known for his brief marriage to Jennifer Lopez, as he was wed to the actress and singer for nearly a year and a half in the early 2000s. The rumor mill is saying that DWTS are looking into bringing on a J. Lo ex, considering how new drama with Ben Affleck has been making the rounds. And Judd has some history on ABC reality TV, appearing on and winning the first season of the American version of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
Casper Smart
Another J. Lo ex that DWTS may be eyeing is Casper Smart. Smart was Lopez's former backup dancer when the two struck up a relationship in 2011 following her separation from Marc Anthony. The two were together on and off until 2016.
Richard Gadd and Jessica Gunning
This past spring, Baby Reindeer took Netflix by storm. The series, created by Richard Gadd and starring Gadd and Jessica Gunning, focuses on a former lawyer who obsessively stalks a bartender. Rumors are that DWTS is looking to cast someone from the Emmy-nominated series, and either Gadd or Gunning would fit the bill.
Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes
Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes spent over a decade in the news business. They both eventually found their way to GMA3: What You Need to Know, a program tied into Good Morning America. The two were behind the desk together for two years before, in 2022, it was revealed that they were in a romantic relationship. They were fired from the show in early 2023. Though it would be an odd move for the couple to be on an ABC show after being let go from the network, and they were even rejected from DWTS when pitched last year, there are still rumors that they could be appearing on Season 33.
