At long last, we got to see Robert Pattinson's take on the iconic Bruce Wayne character. The wait, it turns out, was worth it. The Batman has officially premiered to to the masses earlier in 2022, allowing fans the chance to see Pattinson in ways we haven’t seen since his initial rise: moody, wrestling with a childhood vengeance, and falling in love with a woman who may have a checkered past. (Yes, this is a twilight reference, folks.)
Of course, as we’re about to hit year three of the Covid-19 pandemic, the way people interact with movies is a bit different these days. But the good news is, the movie is still able to be viewed on the big screen—the way it was intended, in our humble opinion. So if you're craving a big bag of popcorn and some boxed candy, have at it.
If you’re not in the mood to leave the comfort of your couch, don’t worry—HBO Max has our backs. Continuing the platform's multi-movie deal with Warner Bros. (the studio behind The Batman) Pattinson's turn as Batman will be available to stream on the site sooner than you think. This week, WarnerMedia announced that The Batman will be available to stream on HBO Max starting on April 18.
No matter which way you choose to view, you get Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne. Which is worth something—like nearly three hours of entertainment—in its own right.
