Netflix's "One Day" has several stars you may recognize from hit HBO shows.
The new romance series follows a 20-year relationship between Dexter Mayhew (Leo Woodall) and Emma Morley (Ambika Mod), which begins when they meet on the last day of university in 1988. Each episode is set on July 15 but in a different year.
Many fans quickly realized that Woodall previously starred in the second season of HBO's "The White Lotus." The "One Day" cast also features actors from "Game of Thrones" and "House of the Dragon."
Here's a quick breakdown of the main cast and other shows and movies they were in.
Leo Woodall had a breakout performance in "The White Lotus" season two.
Woodall plays Dexter Mayhew, a middle-class student who struggles to transition into adulthood.
Woodall is best known for starring as Jack in the second season of "The White Lotus." After the series aired, it was rumored that Woodall was dating his costar, Meghann Fahy, but they haven't said whether that's true.
Woodall also appeared in "Citadel," "Vampire Academy" and "Cherry."
Ambika Mod stood out in the British medical drama "This is Going to Hurt."
Mod plays Emma Morley, a working-class student who struggles to pursue her writing dreams after university.
Mod has already played an emotional role before Emma when she starred in the BBC drama "This is Going to Hurt."
Eleanor Tomlinson starred in "Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging."
Tomlinson first appears in episode nine of "One Day" as Dexter's girlfriend, Sylvie. Sylvie comes from an upper-class family, and Dexter struggles to fit in.
Tomlinson started acting as a teenager and starred in the teen rom-com movie "Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging." Her next biggest role was starring as Demelza in "Poldark."
Tomlinson also appeared in "Alice in Wonderland," "Jack the Giant Slayer," "The Outlaws," and "A Small Light."
Jonny Weldon made a brief appearance in HBO's "House of the Dragon."
Weldon plays Emma's boyfriend, Ian, who is introduced in episode three. Ian is an aspiring comedian.
Weldon had a small appearance in the first season of "House of the Dragon" as a court entertainer for the House Targaryen. Weldon also appeared in numerous TV series, including "Stath Let Flats" and "The Outlaws."
Amber Grappy has played a supporting cast member in numerous shows.
Grappy plays Emma's bold and positive best friend, Tilly. She is introduced in the opening episode, living in a student apartment with Emma.
"One Day" is Grappy's fourth TV role after starring in British shows "Wreck," "Smothered," and "The Baby."
Tim McInnerny appeared in "Game of Thrones," "Sherlock" and "Doctor Who."
McInnerny plays Dexter's dad, Stephen, who is introduced in the season premiere. Dexter and Stephen have a difficult relationship throughout the series.
McInnerny has been acting for over 30 years, but his role as the cheery friend Max in "Notting Hill" is likely his most popular role. He had roles in fantasy shows like "Game of Thrones" and "Outlander." McInnerny has also appeared in several British series such as "Blackadder," "Sherlock," and "Doctor Who."
Essie Davis also appeared in "Game of Thrones."
Davis plays Dexter's mother, Alison, who is also introduced in the opening episode. Alison has a close relationship with Dexter.
Davis is the second "One Day" actor who appeared in HBO's "Game of Thrones." She played Lady Crane in season six. Davis is also known for playing Maggie in "The Matrix Reloaded" and "The Matrix Revolutions."
Since the "The Matrix" sequels, Davis appeared in many movies, including "Charlotte's Web," "The Babadook" and "Assassin's Creed."
