What to Expect in Hijack Season 2?

Plot details for Hijack Season 2 are under wraps. However, filming is underway in the United Kingdom.

Hijack Season 2 is executive produced by series creators George Kay and Jim Field Smith. Additional executive producers include Elba, Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, and Tom Nash.

Hijack Season 1 starred Elba as Sam Nelson, a corporate business negotiator on a hijacked seven-hour flight from Dubai to London. Because of his experience brokering deals, Sam works to find a peaceful solution with the hijackers. Neil Maskell, Eve Myles, Christine Adams, Max Beesley, Archie Panjabi, Ben Miles, and Kate Phillips also starred.

Kay and Smith co-created Hijack, with Smith serving as the lead director.

The seven-episode first season premiered on Apple TV+ in June 2023. The series was met with critical acclaim upon its release. In January 2024, Apple renewed Hijack for a second season, with Elba reprising his role as Sam Nelson.
