Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi to Guest on Stephen Colbert’s Live DNC Episodes
Stephen Colbert has a star-studded list of guests slated for his live Late Show episodes tied to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago next week, with Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and Pete Buttigieg all slated to appear on Monday through Wednesday next week.
The show will be taped live at the Auditorium Theatre and will air on CBS and on Paramount+. Clinton will go on the show Monday, with Veep star Julia Louis-Dreyfus coming on as the second guest. Pelosi and House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries will join Tuesday night, while Buttigieg will appear Wednesday as Chicago native Chance the Rapper performs that evening.

Colbert will also host live from Chicago on Thursday, though the guests for that show haven’t been listed yet, and will be revealed later. Colbert has done live shows tied to the Republican and Democratic National Conventions in years past. He aired live shows last month for the RNC, though he was not on site in Milwaukee.
The DNC itself will be a bit different than years past as Kamala Harris already secured the nomination earlier this month after President Biden announced he’d step down. The event will take place at the United Center with Biden, Barrack and Michelle Obama, and Bill and Hillary Clinton all expected to speak.
Biden will take the stage during the event’s opening night on Monday; Harris will formally accept the nomination on Thursday and will conclude the DNC that evening.
