Historic LaLaurie Mansion and former Nicolas Cage home for sale in French Quarter for $10 million
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The historic LaLaurie Mansion in the French Quarter at 1140 Royal St. is now for sale listed by Latter & Blum/Compass for $10,250,000.
Patrick Knudsen is the realtor for the sale of the LaLaurie Mansion. The listing states that it is an Empire Style Antebellum mansion with eight bedrooms, eight full bathrooms and two partial bathrooms. The 10,284 square foot home also includes a 2,000-bottle wine cellar.

The LaLaurie Mansion is a popular spot on many French Quarter history tours. Many visitors want to visit it. The mansion became even more well-known after Kathy Bates played Madame Delphine LaLaurie on FX’s TV show, “American Horror Story: Coven.”
Actor Nicolas Cage once owned the famous mansion, before it went into foreclosure in 2009.
