Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager know how to celebrate–and in style!
The Today co-hosts previously said that this week would be super special and full of surprises, and they weren't kidding.
New images uploaded by the co-anchors show the duo all dressed up in fabulous showgirl fashion–but that's not all. Kotb and Bush Hager also shared a little behind-the-scenes snippet of their efforts training alongside professional dancers in New Orleans.
So what on earth would entice the New York-based talk show hosts to fly all the way to Louisiana in April? Their fifth anniversary as co-stars, of course!
In honor of the monumental strides they've made since Bush Hager joined Kotb full-time on air as a permanent replacement for Kathie Lee Gifford, the inseparable duo worked to make "something happen" and has been teasing bits and pieces of the action along the way.
Earlier today, Kotb, 59, shared a picture of herself posing next to her co-host as the two dazzled in showgirl attire. For the photo, they wore what appeared to be matching black tanks and all-white costumes that featured lots of feathers, silver glitter and rhinestones.
Hours later, the dynamic–and now dancing–duo further teased their attempt at learning an entire routine in a joint Instagram post.
The video began with Kotb and Bush Hager, 42, walking hand-in-hand in the city before it cut to a clip of the former first daughter bursting out of a cake. The Today anchors were reunited again a few moments later as they each took a note or two from the professional dancers down in NOLA.
The journey didn't stop there, as Kotb and Bush Hager later rallied at a local bar–but not before they busted a few moves in the street on their way there.
As for what else they got into during their trip to N'awlins, fans will have to tune in to Today on Thursday, April 11, to see!
