Honey Boo Boo gets emotional after being voted off 'DWTS: Juniors'
On Sunday’s Dancing With the Stars: Juniors, 12-year-old Alana Thompson, better known as reality TV star Honey Boo Boo, was voted off the show and immediately broke down in tears. Eliminations are determined by the lowest combined total of judges’ scores and studio audience votes, and despite a fun Ghostbusters-themed jazz routine that earned solid reviews from the judges, Thompson and her partner, Tristan Ianiero, were sent home.
Despite the amount of love and support she got from those in the room, viewer reactions were mixed on Twitter:

Artem & Tristan deserve a special award for having to put up with an insolent, uncaring, manner-lacking partner. My patience ran out with her 15 seconds into episode 1! 😫#DWTSJuniors

Thompson — whose TV career began at age 5 on Toddlers & Tiaras and then continued with her own show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo — improved every week on the DWTS: Juniors, and she seemed to have an absolute blast while doing it. And she was undoubtedly a big hit with her fellow competitors, as everyone was genuinely sad to see her go.
Dancing With the Stars: Juniors airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
