Set in a small English village in 1967, liberated Marion is exploring the new social freedoms enjoyed by women in the late 1960s while conscientious and self-conscious Cecily runs the local girls school and is Willa’s main carer.
“Their differences reach a boiling point over their relationship with Willa, which leads to each sister making their own decision on what it means to have a life worth living,” reads the logline.
The screenplay was informed by Bellamacina’s own experience of caring for a child with autism. Jemima McWilliams is casting the project.
The film is the second collaboration from Bethany (“The Rehearsal”) and Bellamacina, who previously worked together on “Tell That To The Winter Sea,” which is repped by Kaleidescrope for international rights.
“All Five Eyes” is a U.K./U.S. co-production originated by Sulk Youth Films and BKE Productions. Grace Cavanagh-Butler is producing.
Bethany is repped by Buchwald and Alt Global Media. Bellamacina is repped by Tavistock Wood. Swinton Byrne is repped by Hamilton Hodell.
Swinton Byrne can currently be seen in “The Crown” Season 6 as Lola Airedale-Cavendish-Kincaid. Bellamacina will next be seen in Riccardo Vannuccini’s indie feature “Things and Other Things.”
