Milligan shared with Cinemablend that there are a lot of similarities in the lessons to be taken from both Schitt’s Creek and his newest Netflix movie, Hot Frosty, saying, “Schitt’s Creek, there’s a little bit of an overlap in terms of some of the lessons that we have and the themes that we explore here in this movie as well, where it’s like you have sometimes to let go of your idea of yourself and shed that identity in order to discover who you really can be.”
