2nd UPDATE, 10:45 AM: CBS now says that production on Season 9 of Hawaii Five-O also has shut down as Hurrican Lane threatens the islands. The National Weather Service has posted a hurricane warning for the entire state through 2 PM local time today (5 PM PT).

UPDATED, 7:10 AM: CBS says Magnum P.I. is shutting down production for today and tomorrow as Hurricane Lane moves in, and Hawaii Five-O is shooting this morning, then shutting down for the rest of the day. The network says things are fluid and could change, depending on the weather.

Right now, the center of Lane is about 230 miles south-southwest of the Big Island’s Kona Coast or about 335 miles south of Honolulu, moving northwestward, according to the National Hurricane Center. The storm is slowly weakening, but remains a powerful Category 4 hurricane. Lane is currently drenching the Big Island with flooding rain. A hurricane warning is posted for Hawaii’s Big Island, Maui and Oahu, including Honolulu, meaning hurricane conditions are expected within those areas.

CBS says that the safety of the cast and crew are the top priority and that they are “closely monitoring the situation” as the hurricane isn’t expected to hit Oahu until Thursday.

Hurricane Lane is currently headed towards Hawaii and is a Category 4 storm with maximum sustained winds of 150 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center. As of Wednesday, the Big Island as well as Maui, Lanai, Molokai and Kahoolawe are under a hurricane warning.

Hawaii Five-0 is set to premiere its ninth season on Sept. 28 and the debut of Magnum P.I. is set for Sept. 24.
