Ice Spice Offers Kai Cenat A Twerk When Asked To Freestyle
Ice Spice kicked it with Kai Cenat on the eve of her debut album release, and showed off her dancing skills during their collaborative livestream.
A clip from the broadcast shared across social media finds the Cenat requesting Ice Spice to drop a freestyle. Instead of boasting braggadocious bars, the Bronx native decided to do what fans know her to do best.
The Grammy-nominated rapper opted for a fun twerk, with the popular streamer hyping her up. As an instrumental dropped with Cenat adding an excited “F**k ’em up” adlib, Ice Spice turns around and bounces to the beat.
“That was your freestyle?” questioned Kai Cenat as he applauded, smiling from ear to ear.
Ice Spice’s debut album Y2K! was officially released on Friday (July 26). With 10 tracks and a 23-minute, 19-second run time, the work features Travis Scott, Central Cee, and Gunna.
“I think I’m, like, 90 percent I’m going to do whatever I want, and then 10 percent I’ll give you something you want. But at the same time, I just really like making fun records because that’s what I like to hear most of the time,” the 24-year-old explained to Rolling Stone.
She continued to describe of the songs in the album, “I did want to display that side of me as an artist because I feel like everybody’s always like, ‘Oh, it’s always you think you’re the sh*t, bi**h,’” adding, “I was just like, ‘OK, guys, I can rap, relax.’”
