ICT Comic Con held at Century II

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Day one of the ICT Comic Con was held at Century II in downtown Wichita on Saturday.

This year’s celebrity panel featured the original Daisy Duke, Catherine Bach, actress Sybil Danning, known for her numerous roles in cult B-movies like “Battle Beyond the Stars,” and “Hercules.”

Fellow Hercules star Lou Ferrigno, who also played and voiced The Incredible Hulk, was also in attendance.

Convention director Richard Cathy said the Comic Con is fun for the whole family.

“Well, it’s, you know, it’s great; it appeals to everyone, kids, parents, grandparents,” Cathy said. “There’s something here for everybody. Whether there’s a favorite TV show, and you’re looking for some memorabilia. Comic books that you’re trying to complete your collection.”

If you missed it on Saturday, the event will run on Sunday. Doors open at 10 a.m. and admission is free for children under 12.
