Idris Elba Sings Like Nobody's Listening, Dances Like Nobody's Watching

Idris Elba dropped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday to promote his new film, Star Trek Beyond. And while he was there the extremely talented actor showed off some of his other talents, like singing and dancing.

Elba started off the show by showing off some of the dance moves he’s mastered over the years. As an avid DJ, Elba goes to lots of music festivals and enjoys dancing.

Elba then played Box of Microphones, which is basically just singing into microphones that are digitally tuned to project funny voices. Elba started off by singing “Panda” by Desiigner and followed it up with Lionel Richie and Diana Ross’s hit “Endless Love.”

It was even easier to appreciate Elba’s talent when compared to the show’s second guest, Heidi Klum. She sang a German yodeling song that was extremely entertaining but probably not good enough to be on her show America’s Got Talent. Regardless, it seems clear that Elba has only to “love like he’s never been hurt before” in order to become a cliche fridge magnet.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35pm on NBC.
