Iggy Azalea says she 'wanted to die' because of Twitter trolls
Iggy Azalea knows all about Twitter drama, but even for her, some recent messages crossed the line.
The 27-year-old Australian rapper said she “literally wanted to die” after a clip from one of her early freestyle performance surfaced over the weekend on another account. Azalea said the reactions to the video, which appears to be from a 2013 music festival, caused her to be “bullied endlessly.”
It was great being bullied endlessly until I literally wanted to die because y’all unearthed a trash performance from the beginning of my career.
one for the books!
Thank God Im a strong person.
These comments remind me how important it is to always be kind.

Azalea’s raps have been ridiculed before, including one she did in 2013 on Sway in the Morning on the radio. That one — in which she didn’t exactly freestyle, but instead repeated her own song lyrics a cappella — was mocked so much that it became a meme.
In the latest go-round, Azalea’s supporters had her back.

Girl these videos are on Internet and will never disappear… I know how annoying it is when people spread them. All you have to do is keep making good music we are always on your side

Far less controversial for Azalea this weekend was her appearance at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, where she showed some serious leg.
