Iman shares sweet pic of her and David Bowie's daughter, Lexi, whose 'daddy' tattoo is on display

Well, hey there, Lexi! On Tuesday, Iman posted a rare picture of her daughter with David Bowie.

In the Instagram photo, 17-year-old Alexandria “Lexi” Jones looks carefree and happy, giving the camera a smile as she’s lounging around. Her “Daddy” tattoo is on display on her left forearm.

Iman first gave fans a glimpse of Lexi’s ink earlier this year. The tattoo shows a moon with flowers in it, along with “Daddy” and “xxx.” It also has the year Bowie was born and the year he died: “1947–2016.” The moon holds a special meaning for a few reasons.

It has been over two years since the music legend passed away from cancer, and while he’s deeply missed by Iman and Lexi, he’s hardly forgotten. The 62-year-old supermodel also has a tattoo in honor of her late husband, showing a knife with “David” written on the handle. (Scroll to the right in the above photo.)

Lexi has largely grown up out of the spotlight, but has made a handful of appearances on her mom’s Instagram page.

You can always count on the Iman Cosmetics mogul to share a birthday tribute on Aug. 15.

So today’s picture is definitely a bonus.
