Inaugural ‘Top of the Hill Festival’ in Daly City features Grammy-nominated R&B singer

(KRON) — Daly City is hosting its inaugural “Top of the Hill Festival” this month. The free, all-ages event is set to take place Saturday, Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The festival will be at Daly City’s Top of the Hill area — the intersection of Mission Street and John Daly Boulevard. The live music slate is headlined by Grammy-nominated artist Eric Bellinger.

There will be food trucks, merchandise vendors, resource tables, a car show and a beer garden. The food and vendor lineups have not been announced.

“This Festival is an exciting new initiative to spotlight the area’s vibrant business community,” Daly City officials wrote. “By driving foot traffic and creating a lively atmosphere, the City aims to stimulate economic growth and enhance Daly City’s reputation as a thriving destination.”

Other performers include “Malo” and “Pride & Joy,” according to Daly City’s website. There will also be a music video DJ set by DJ Chicken Skratch and Keith-O.

Bellinger is one of the bigger names in the R&B scene, boasting more than 1 million Instagram followers. The Los Angeles native has songwriting credits for hits such as “New Flame” by Chris Brown and “Think Like A Man” by Ne-Yo and Jennifer Hudson.
