More super-powered Incredibles missions are incoming.
Disney and Pixar announced at the D23 fan event on Aug. 9 that a third Incredibles movie is officially in development.
The Incredibles came out in 2004 and won the Oscar for Best Animated Film. A sequel eventually came in 2018, and that remained Pixar's highest-grossing film until this summer's Inside Out 2 surpassed it at the box office.
The Incredibles voice cast is led by Craig T. Nelson as Bob, a.k.a. Mr. Incredible, and Holly Hunter as Helen, a.k.a. Elastigirl.

Director Brad Bird (who also voices Edna Mode) told Deadline back in 2018 about the potential for a third installment, "I would rather say I’m not closed to it, but it’s not on my mind. It’s like, the last thing you want to do after swimming in the ocean for a month is go for a swim. I need to do something else for a while, and we’ll see what the future has in store."
Some other upcoming Disney animated sequels in the works include Frozen 3, Zootopia 2, Toy Story 5 and Moana 2. Plus, Pixar has the original film Elio in theaters June 13, 2025, and the newly announced Hoppers.
