Industry giants to promote concerts and 'unforgettable experiences' at VAI Resort Glendale
C3 Presents, the concert promotion company behind Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits and Innings Festival, is joining with Live Nation, the world’s leading live entertainment company, in booking and promoting shows at VAI Resort’s new $50 million VAI Amphitheater in Glendale, Arizona.
With a plan to use the stage more than 100 times a year, including for resident artist performances, the $1 billion hotel has announced its intention to make VAI Amphitheater Arizona’s premiere entertainment venue and destination.
“We're excited about our collaboration with C3 Presents and Live Nation, global leaders in live entertainment," Howard Weiss, VAI Resort's Senior Vice President of Entertainment & Sponsorships, said in a press release.
"With C3 Presents and Live Nation as our booking partners, we are dedicated to delivering the ultimate concert experience, so much so that we have increased the budget for the venue to $50 million."
This includes adding a second floor with more reserved seats and additional amenities.
"Through this partnership," Weiss added, "we will bring top artists to our first-of-its-kind venue, offering 5-star hospitality for both fans and artists alike."
Andrew Blank of C3 Presents issued a statement saying, “We are thrilled to join forces with VAI Resort and be part of the extraordinary VAI Amphitheater. We look forward to curating unforgettable experiences at this spectacular venue."
VAI Resort promising 'a revolutionary concept' at its amphitheater
The VAI Amphitheater is promising “a revolutionary concept in the realm of live music venues” with cutting-edge design and state-of-the-art technology, presenting large-scale events within “a uniquely intimate atmosphere.”
Set against the backdrop of the 60-acre VAI Resort, featuring pristine white sand beaches and more than 1,100 guest rooms, the venue offers multiple viewing options, ensuring every guest has an unbeatable view of the stage.
From hotel room balconies and sky boxes to VIP booths and high-end reserved stadium seats, the VAI Amphitheater boasts a capacity of more than 11,000, making it the ideal space to immerse fans in the heart of the performance.
In November, Grant Fisher, the CEO of VAI Global Development, told The Republic the company had gone through “almost 100” iterations of what the stage and performance venue would look like, taking into account the view from all seats in the theater as well as the views from the overlooking hotel rooms, which will be sold like suites for different shows.

VAI Amphitheater is designed to be an artist-friendly venue
The amphitheater has also been designed to be an artist-friendly venue, with a “Plug & Play” concept eliminating the need for artists to bring their own equipment.
The VAI Resort artist accommodations were also designed to enhance the experience of those performing at the amphitheater.
Those accommodations include the following:
One presidential suite and three bay suites on the 8th floor of the amphitheater tower.
Private elevator and access to underground tunnels that will connect to the stage and the entire resort without interfacing publicly.
Piano, pantry, dressing room, full bar and dining room in the presidential suite.
Game room in the 3 bay suites.
Elevated bar offerings in all four suites.
Elevated finishes throughout.
VAI Resort will be Arizona's largest resort when it opens in 2024
Set to open in late 2024 near State Farm Stadium at Cardinals Way and 95th Avenue, east of the Loop 101, the $1 billion VAI Resort will be Arizona’s largest hotel entertainment and culinary destination.
It features four hotel towers, more than 1,100 rooms, suites and villas, the VAI Amphitheater, 12 signature restaurants, Konos Island and Beach Oasis, a luxury spa, a nightclub venue, rides, attractions, curated retail and art installations.
VAI Resort also features first-to-Arizona attractions, including a tethered Hot Air Balloon that can transport up to 30 guests, a 130-foot-high Konos Sky Bar and the world’s first Mattel Adventure Park.
Construction has been underway since 2021.
