Still together? Adele and NBA agent Rich Paul took their romance public in September 2021. Following the singer announcing an indefinite hiatus from her music career in 2024 after confirming her engagement, fans want to know if the couple are still together.

Are Adele and Rich Paul Still Together?

After finalizing her divorce in March 2021 from ex-husband Simon Konecki, with whom she shares her only child, son Angelo, Adele moved on with Rich. In July of that year, a source exclusively told Life & Style that the couple's romance had been "exciting and fresh,” adding, "the chemistry between them is insane!"

Things seemed to be going well until early 2022, when Adele canceled her Las Vegas Caesars Palace residency at the last minute.

Speculation then began that the pair had parted ways. Adele was heard “shouting and sobbing” on the phone to Rich during rehearsals, sources told Page Six at the time.

Adele clapped back at the rumors  via Instagram on February 1, confirming she was still going strong with Rich. “Hiya, so I'm really happy to say that I am performing at the Brits next week!!” she wrote. “Oh, and Rich sends his love.”

Before ringing in 2023, Adele was spotted celebrating her man's birthday in West Hollywood in December 2022. The pair were accompanied by NBA pals LeBron James, Tristan Thompson and Tyronn Lue, according to photos obtained by TMZ.

Did Adele and Rich Paul Split?

The “Hello” singer celebrated her 34th birthday in May 2022, but Rich did not celebrate alongside her. Instead, the sports agent was in Miami with LeBron at a Carbone dinner party, ringing in the 2022 Miami Grand Prix, while Adele is nowhere in sight.

For her part, the songstress posted to Instagram reflecting on her 34 years. “What a difference a year makes! If time keeps healing and smoothing out all the creases in my life like it does as the years fly by, then I can’t wait to be 60!” she wrote. “I’ve never been happier!” she added.

However, come June 2022, Adele and Rich stepped out to NBA star Kevin Love and Kate Bock’s wedding alongside LeBron and wife Savannah. The A-list lovebirds continued to enjoy their summer. In late July 2022, Adele and Rich were photographed getting cozy on a boat in Sardinia, Italy.

The vocalist shared things that make her happy during an October 2022 episode of her “Happy Hour With Adele” podcast, and Rich made the list.

“I'd say that and my dogs, and then making special time for Rich and stuff like that,” she said. “I mean, the season just started, and believe me, I'm actually a really big basketball fan. Thank God. So, I've also been doing that."

Are Adele and Rich Paul Engaged?

Adele hinted that she and Rich had gotten engaged after fueling speculation at the 2022 Brit Awards while wearing a massive multi-carat pear-shaped diamond ring. The singer teased a proposal when asked about it during an interview on The Graham Norton Show on February 11. "If I was, would I ever tell anyone if I was or wasn't?" she said.

Rumors of their engagement sparked when Adele showed off a multi-carat pear-shaped diamond ring earlier this year while posing on the red carpet before the awards show. The ring included a single large stone, with a gold band featuring smaller diamonds.

Six months after engagement rumors started swirling, Adele finally addressed the fan speculation during an interview with Elle in August 2022.

When asked if she was engaged, she responded, "Well! Well. Well, I’m not married." She started to laugh and was asked again and she replied, "I’m not married. I’m not married! I’m just in loooove! I’m happy as I’ll ever be. I might as well be married."

However, later in the interview, she added "I’m not engaged. I just love high-end jewelry, boy!"

Even though Adele denied the engagement rumors, she revealed that she "absolutely" would be open to getting married again in the future.

The "Rumour Has It" singer finally confirmed she and Rich were engaged during her August 9, 2024, concert in Munich, Germany. Adele responded to a fan who asked if she would marry him. "Will you marry me? I can’t marry you because I’m already getting married so I can’t," she responded while showing off her huge diamond ring in a video that went viral.

Adele told fans during her final concert in Germany on August 31 2024, that she would be taking a long hiatus from performing. She still had 10 Las Vegas residency shows to make up after canceling them due to illness, “but after that, I will not see you for an incredibly long time and I will hold you dear in my heart for that whole length of my break.”

She added her personal life was going to become a high priority, telling the crowd, "I have spent the last seven years building a new life for myself and I want to live it now. I want to live my life that I've been building, and I will miss you terribly."
