Internet Can't Hold It Together After Bill Clinton Is Mistaken for Another Politician in Awkward Video

One Georgian McDonald's employee sparked the latest viral video after seemingly mistaking Bill Clinton, 78, for Joe Biden, 81, during a starstruck interaction with the former president.

In a video uploaded to X on Sunday, Oct. 13, Clinton approached a fast food counter at a McDonald's restaurant in Georgia. He wore a USA-branded jacket while campaigning for Kamala Harris in Georgia.

One of the employees, with a pitcher clutched in her hand, stared at him with wide but not-quite-all-knowing eyes.

"You Joe?" she finally asked, setting the container on the counter. "Mr. Joe?"

She reached out to shake his hand before realizing, "Bill Clin—Oh!" and rushing to his side of the counter to wrap her arms around him.

It's unclear if she made the connection herself or if Clinton introduced himself as he's difficult to hear in the video. However, she made sure everyone else was clear on his identity as she accounted, "This is Bill, ya'll!" while one of her co-workers snapped a picture of the two of them.

"'You Joe?!' ??" the poster emphasized, sharing a screenshot of the moment she questioned the identity of her customer and leading one commenter to reply, "I screamed when she said that!"

"Idk how you get them mixed up. God bless her. ????," another said, while someone else joked, "She knew he was one of those old white guys ??????."

"This is adorable," another said sweetly.

While it may have proved to be a little awkward, it was all clearly taken in good spirits!
