Interpretive Dance to ‘Frasier’ Theme Song Is The Best Thing You’ll See All Day
On Late Night with Seth Meyers on Thursday, Meyers presented “Late Night Casserole,” a mix of skits that weren’t quite good enough to stand on their own. But there was one skit they were wrong about: An interpretive dance to the Frasier theme song.
Frasier was a huge hit in the ’90s and early 2000s, running for 11 seasons and picking up numerous awards. Every episode ended with an end-credits theme song, “Tossed Salad and Scrambled Eggs,” performed by the show’s star, Kelsey Grammer.
Vine star-turned-comedy-writer Conner O’Malley took “Tossed Salad and Scrambled Eggs” and brought Grammer’s velvety voice to life. O’Malley turned every word into an action — acting like he was taking calls, whipping up some scrambled eggs, and dealing with a storm of tossed salad. O’Malley did all this in motions some might consider dancing.
And if there’s any question about whether or not this is art, just check out Meyers’s face at the end.
