Interview With the Vampire: Lestat Rocks Out in First Look at Season 3
Breaking news: Interview With the Vampire Season 3 is going to rock.
Following the show’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, AMC released an enticing teaser for the show’s highly anticipated third installment, in which Lestat (Sam Reid) will be interviewed by everyone’s favorite vampire reporter Daniel (Eric Bogosian).

“Lestat [will be] front and center, which means the show should feel like it was hijacked by Lestat,” showrunner Rolin Jones previously told TVLine about Season 3. “Aesthetically, you should be ready for what a Lestat version of the show feels like and looks like.” (Right, as if one could ever be ready for that.)
Officially, here’s AMC’s breakdown for what fans can expect from Season 3: “Resentful of the perfunctory portrayal in the trashy bestseller Interview With The Vampire, the Vampire Lestat sets his story straight in a way only the Vampire Lestat can — by starting a band and going on tour. Gabrielle. Nicholas. Magnus. Marius. Those Who Must Be Kept. They join Louis, Armand, Molloy, Sam, Raglan, Fareed and others we can’t tell you about yet on a sexy pilgrimage across space, time and trauma. No auto-tuning. No trigger warnings. All feels amplified.”
Based on Anne Rice’s iconic book series, Interview With the Vampire is part of AMC’s Immortal Universe, along with Mayfair Witches, which returns soon with its second season, and a third series currently in development about the supernatural watchdog organization known as the Talamasca.
