Isabel Lucas & Luke Ford Warp Into Sci-Fi Action Film ‘SFv1’

Science fiction action thriller SFv1 has blasted two new cast members into space, adding Isabel Lucas (Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen) and Luke Ford (Deadline Gallipoli). Set in the future when humanity has spread out into interplanetary colonies, the film follows Sy (Kellan Lutz) , a drifter who falls in with Kane (Daniel MacPherson), an off-world military contractor trying to rescue his daughter Indi (Teagan Croft) from peril while evading a global crisis caused by the military contracting company he works for. Lucas will play Gyp, while Ford will play Bill.

Currently filming in Sydney and the Australian Outback, the film’s is rounded out by Temuera Morrison, Bren Foster, along with Rachel Griffiths, Firass Dirani, Dwaine Stevenson and Grace Huang.

SFv1 is produced by Matthew Graham, Brett Thornquest, Sidonie Abbene and Shane Abbess, and executive produced by Steven Matusko. The film was co-created by Abbess and Brian Cachia, with Abbess also directing from his own screenplay. Carl Robertson serves as director of photography, with casting director Faith Martin, production designer George Liddle, make-up/hair designer Jennifer Lamphee, costume designer Nicola Dunn, editor Adrian Rostirolla and composer Brian Cachia. A Storm Alley Entertainment and Eclectik Vision production in association with Phonetic Images, the film’s worldwide sales are being handled by XYZ Films.

Lucas is repped by Meissner Management, Radius Entertainment and ID Public Relations. Ford is repped by Marquee Management.
