Isabella Strahan Celebrates Major Achievement Amid Cancer Battle
Isabella Strahan has a lot to celebrate—and she's doing so while surrounded by her closest friends and family.
In the latest video of her YouTube vlog series, the 19-year-old daughter of former NFL star and current Good Morning America co-host Michael Strahan showed when she rang the chemo bell at the hospital after undergoing her final round of chemotherapy.
Isabella, who was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in October 2023, subsequently had to go through three craniotomies and four rounds of chemo—making the end of her difficult journey a major cause for celebration.
As seen in the new video shared on Friday, June 14, Isabella was showered with confetti as she walked through the hospital hallway in front of a line of supporters, including her dad, his girlfriend, Kayla Quick, her mom, Jean Muggli, and twin sister Sophia.
While everyone continued cheering for her, Isabella walked over to the chemo bell to ring it three times, while reciting, "Ring this bell, three times well, its toll to clearly say, my treatment's done, this course is done, and I am on my way!"
Michael, 52, held up his phone and filmed the sweet moment of his daughter, after staying by her side throughout her cancer journey.
Isabella's latest video likely explains why Michael was recently absent from his usual spot on Good Morning America, as he was busy cheering on his girl as she hit the exciting milestone.
"Woohoo! Definitely reason to celebrate" one of Isabella's followers wrote in the YouTube comments, while someone else said the precious video "brought tears to my eyes."
"You are a brave young lady," added another commenter.
Isabella also posted about the milestone moment on Instagram.
Here's hoping Isabella can now focus on healing and returning to college in the fall!
