Isabella Strahan Reveals She Was Unconscious During Her 19th Birthday as She Celebrates Six Months Late

Michael Strahan's daughter Isabella, who is currently fighting cancer, recently celebrated her 19th birthday a little late. But she had a good reason, as the teenager was unconscious in the hospital on her actual birthday.

In a new vlog from Isabella, she brought fans along as she and a friend made muffins with cream cheese frosting in honor of her birthday, which she shares with her twin sister Sophia.

While talking about the belated party, Isabella revealed, "We're doing a little birthday celebration because I was not conscious for my 19th birthday."

The vlog then cut to a clip from last October, with Isabella lying in a hospital bed while her family stood in the room. There were a bunch of balloons there and "Happy Birthday" written on the wall, and the person behind the camera noted that Isabella was "moving into a new room for her birthday."

"So we're doing a little birthday about six months late, eight months, I don't know," Isabella went on. While she uploaded her latest vlog in late May, it's unclear when she filmed the clip. Isabella and her twin Sophia's actual birthday is October 28.

Isabella was recovering from brain surgery last October, as she reportedly had a procedure done on the 27th, a day before her birthday, to remove a malignant tumor in her brain. Since then, she has had a couple of other surgeries, and she recently underwent her third round of chemotherapy.

This month, the teenager opened up about a challenging side effect of her treatment, sharing in a video that she experienced memory loss after taking a certain drug. She also shared that she is scheduled to have her last round of chemo in June, although Isabella noted that she's "scared" of what comes after that.

Isabella has been sharing her cancer journey with fans on her YouTube channel, regularly updating people on how she's doing.
