J Balvin named Monday Night Football music curator
A Latin pop star is kicking off a new job in more than a week.
J Balvin has been named the official Monday Night Football music curator for the 2024-2025 season, ESPN announced on Thursday, a week before the NFL season begins.
The “Mi Gente” singer will select music that will run during Monday Night Football promotional spots, live telecasts and the Monday Night Countdown for the entire season. His choices will also be included in the two NFL Playoffs weeks.

Week 5: New Orleans Saints @ Kansas City Chiefs
Week 6: Buffalo Bills at New York Jets

The Latin Grammy Award winner will start his new job with a new song called “DOBLEXXO” featuring Feid off his new album “RAYO.” The new song will be used during ESPN’s Week 1 Monday Night Football topical spot. The album was released on Aug. 9.
In the past, ESPN has worked with Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Marshmello, Drake, DJ Khaled and Diplo as Monday Night Football music curators.
