Jack Black Is a 'Toolbag' in First 'A Minecraft Movie' Trailer
After months of speculation, we're finally getting our first look at A Minecraft Movie, the upcoming Warner Bros. film based off the uber popular video game. Since the game itself is not particularly plot based, there has been plenty of speculation as to what the film would look like in its final form. Now we have a much better idea.
On Sept. 4, 2024, the first teaser trailer of A Minecraft Movie was released which shows a group of humans (albeit some oddly clothed ones) wandering through a universe made of Minecraft blocks. Beyond that we don't have too many plot specifics, so it remains unclear why humans are in the world of Minecraft and what there mission is. The movie will hit theaters April 4, 2025 and stars Jack Black, Jason Momoa and Danielle Brooks, all of whom pop up in the trailer.
