Jack Daniel’s Presenta: ‘Musicians on Musicians Latino’ with Myke Towers and Elena Rose
It’s good to be bold, which is why Rolling Stone and Jack Daniel’s have made their own bold move, partnering for the first ever Musicians on Musicians Latino series. The multi-part event is part of the larger Jack Presenta initiative, which over the last few years has not just celebrated the world of Latin music, but worked to elevate the voices of today’s Latin artists and bring them directly to fans and enthusiasts.
Now, through a unique expansion of Rolling Stone’s iconic Musicians on Musicians series, the two historic brands are uniting through a shared passion for music — and its power to inspire, connect, and enrich lives.

On a warm December evening in Miami, the inaugural event kicked off at a local venue at the heart of the city’s rich art scene in the Wynwood neighborhood. With a vibrant crowd of young partygoers, including artists, influencers, and Latin music fans of all kinds, the stage was set for a night of dancing, laughs, and craft cocktails courtesy of Jack Daniel’s. The main event was an intimate discussion led by moderator and Rolling Stone Senior Music Editor, Julyssa Lopez, who brought to the stage Latin music visionaries Myke Towers and Elena Rose for a wide-spanning conversation before the live audience.
The pair, who most recently collaborated on the song, “Te Conozco,” for Myke’s latest album, spoke intimately about their mutual appreciation for artistry, and music’s inherent power to inspire. On creativity, Elena says, “We are artists living in a world that has forgotten what real art is. [What] I try to exercise to myself is ‘how can I remember?’ Remember what already lives in me. I can try to make you see how special you are and what you have.”
On the matter of being bold, Myke Towers added, “If you get blocked when you’re writing, don’t get scared. Whenever I make a song that I like, I ask myself if there’s gonna be another one. I’m competing with myself, and when I write I feel like I’m doing the same.”
The duo capped off their dialogue with a Jack Daniel’s toast to the crowd, followed by a special performance by Elena herself.
