Jack Huston Launches ‘Time Capsule: The Silver Chain’ Podcast Unveiling the Secret Lives of ‘70s Swingers (EXCLUSIVE)
Actor and director Jack Huston is adding “podcast producer” to his resume. Huston will executive produce “Time Capsule: The Silver Chain,” a new podcast out Feb. 29 unveiling the intriguing story behind a secret swingers society founded in puritanical 1970s Minnesota.
As the trailer tells it, an envelope arrived at the Minn. Historical Society in the 1990s containing the contents of an abandoned safe deposit box from First Bloomington Lake National Bank.

“With the arrival of that one envelope, their collection now included newsletters from the 1970s, mimeographed and folded like church bulletins and credited to an organization … called the Silver Chain Social Club,” host Paul Ditty muses.
“Month by month, these newsletters chronicle family camping trips, monthly dances and discussion panels like ‘Women’s Changing Role in Society’ and ‘Don’t Fuck Like a Truck,’ because behind closed doors, the Silver Chain was a well-organized swingers group comprising over 100 couples.”
This first installment in the planned anthology series is executive produced by Huston’s CYSA Productions and Jen Blake and April Shih’s Diversity Hire Ltd., and in collaboration with Nora McInerny’s Feelings & Co.
Huston currently stars alongside Nicole Kidman in Lulu Wang’s “Expats” on Prime Video, and previously appeared in “Mayfair Witches,” “Fargo” and “Boardwalk Empire.” His film credits include “House of Gucci” and “The Irishman.”
Huston recently made his feature directorial debut with “Day of the Fight,” which he also wrote and co-produced. The film, which premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival, tells the story of a once-successful boxer (Michael Pitt) who takes a journey through his past and present on the day of his first fight since leaving prison.
