Jack Schlossberg Attended the U.S. Open in Style Last Night
When it comes to blending fashion and athletics, no event does it quite like the U.S. Open, and this year's Grand Slam has proven no exception. Among the well-heeled celebrities heading to Arthur Ashe stadium over Labor Day Weekend was Jack Schlossberg, the only grandson of John F. Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy.
Schlossberg was photographed arriving at the event with fashion influencer Tina Leung, though he didn't stop to pose for any photos on the blue carpet.
While his look was pared back, he still managed to uphold the family's legacy of sporty style with an all-black ensemble including a matching sweater and trousers with dark sneakers and a cavas tote bag.
Schlossberg has been an outspoken proponent of the Democratic party, becoming known in recent months for his attention-grabbing social media videos about politics. “I think I’ve broken through to a younger audience," he told T&C. "I think everyone’s looking for a little bit of levity and humor here, and if it’s all so serious all the time, it’s just too heavy."
In August, Schlossberg spoke at the Democratic National Convention in support of Kamala Harris's candidacy. He has also (along with numerous other members of the Kennedy clan) been vocal in his criticism of his cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s now-ended presidential run, writing on Twitter after Kennedy announced the end of his campaign, "Never been less surprised in my life. Been saying it for over a year — RFKjr is for sale, works for Trump. Bedfellows and loving it. Kamala Harris is for the people — the easiest decision of all time just got easier."
