James Bond's Naomie Harris says 'huge star' groped her during audition: 'No one said anything'
Naomie Harris is opening up about her own #MeToo moment.
Harris – best known for playing Eve Moneypenny in the James Bond franchise, as well as her Oscar-nominated performance in "Moonlight" – revealed that a "huge, huge star" put his hand up her skirt during an audition.
"What was so shocking about it was the casting director was there and the director, and of course no one said anything because he was – he is – such a huge star," Harris said during an interview with The Mail on Sunday's You magazine.
Harris did not reveal the identity of the actor or the project for which she was auditioning. USA TODAY reached out to Harris' rep for comment.

Despite being sexually harassed, Harris said she considered herself "very lucky" to have only experienced one instance during her time in the film industry, "given how rife that behavior was."
Harris, however, said times have "definitely changed" and the industry has made progress toward holding people accountable for unacceptable behavior.
"I was on a project where there was a #MeToo incident and there was no hesitation," she told the outlet. "(The perpetrator) was immediately removed." (Harris did not identify the actor who was removed.)

During the interview, the English actress touched on another element of Hollywood that needs to evolve: gun safety on sets, following Alec Baldwin firing a prop gun and killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on a New Mexico film set.
"Even before this, I refused to do a stunt that involved firing a blank because even blanks can kill. I wouldn’t fire it near anybody," Harris told the outlet.
She continued: "After that I was on the set of 'The Man Who Fell To Earth' (her upcoming TV series) handling guns and it was terrifying. I hate guns, but a lot of my roles require me to handle one."
Harris has played Eve Moneypenny in the James Bond films "Skyfall" (2012), "Spectre" (2015) and "No Time to Die" (2021).
