James Corden Pays Emotional Tribute to Garry Marshall
After the passing of Hollywood legend Garry Marshall on Tuesday, James Corden paid an emotional tribute to the man who brought the world some of the most iconic shows in television history and some of the most memorable films ever made.
Marshall created shows like Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, and Mork and Mindy, just to name a few; and Corden grew up in England watching these sitcoms that showed him just a little slice of America. Marshall later created some of Corden’s favorite movies like Pretty Woman, Beaches, and The Princess Diaries.
Marshall left an indelible mark on Hollywood and on Corden, who ended his tribute by asking viewers to do themselves a favor and watch anything that Marshall made:
“I guarantee you’ll leave feeling better than you did before.”
