James Harden’s Face Says It All After Girlfriend Catches Bouquet At Rajon Rondo’s Wedding
James Harden is on his way to legendary meme status, once again, thanks to his reaction after girlfriend Paige Speights caught the bouquet at retired NBA baller Rajon Rondo’s wedding this weekend.
Amid the joyous news of Rondo marrying longtime girlfriend Latoia Fitzgerald, footage of the hilarious moment from the reception began hitting the internet, as Speights caught the bundle of white flowers that nearly landed at her feet. As she turned around to hug her man, she was met with a stupefied stare, almost as if the Clippers guard had seen a ghost.
Fans couldn’t help but share their reactions to Harden appearing to see his life flash before his eyes, as catching the bouquet is said to mean you’re the next to marry.
“Bro knows his strip club days are numbered,” wrote one fan within the No Jumper comment section, with one woman adding, “Bruh if my man looked that mortified while thinking of marrying me, I don’t think I could stay.”
Others took digs at his career, joking that, “Harden is avoiding a ring at all costs!”
Speights later took to Instagram to share her thoughts on catching the bouquet, writing, “I wasn’t even participating lol I’m standing outside the circle in the back. The bouquet landed right at my feet. Hey a win is a win.”
“I do this sh*t with no effort” she added, according to a screenshot obtained by OnSite.
Rondo and designer Latoia Fitzgerald wed on Lake Como in Italy Friday (June 7) following their September 2022 engagement. The couple entered their swanky venue to Future’s “March Madness,” as family and a star-studded guest list of friends bopped along while basking in their love. The pair also danced to Usher’s “Superstar,” and later gently swayed to the relaxing sounds of smooth jazz.
