Jamie Lee Curtis Gushes Over Her ‘Ultimate Movie Daughter’ in Sweet Post

Jamie Lee Curtis penned a special shout-out for her “ultimate movie daughter” in a sweet post on social media as she reflected on her most recent filming experience.

Disney confirmed in June that the fan-favorite film Freaky Friday will finally be getting a sequel. Curtis, 65, starred in the 2003 fantasy comedy alongside Lindsay Lohan, who played Curtis’ onscreen daughter. The actress’ characters swapped bodies in the film with help from a magical fortune cookie, leaving them to learn about each other as they struggled to figure out how to swap back.

The new film, Freakier Friday, is expected out in 2025. According to Curtis’ Friday, Aug. 16, post on Instagram, filming is nearly finished.
