Jamie Lee Curtis was photographed filming “Freaky Friday 2” yesterday in Los Angeles.
The “Everything Everywhere All at Once” star stepped out of her comfort zone, literally, in a pair of silver metallic pumps. The youthful style was comprised of dazzling mirrored silver uppers, sharp pointed toes and 2 to 3-inch block heels. The thick heel choice offered Curtis stability and a wider range of movement while filming.
Metallic styles have become a favorite of many, especially within the last few years. The high-shine finish is especially popular among celebrities, thanks to its futuristic appearance, taking any look to the next level. Platform heels, sandals and even loafers that come in a multitude of metallic hues are lent an utterly whimsical vibe otherwise lost on plane jane leather compositions.
Matching her playful footwear, Curtis was outfitted in a distressed denim two-piece set. On top, the thespian wore a fitted and belted blazer featuring silver hardware while her pants were a matching denim bell-bottom style with raw edges.
Curtis’ shoe style is sharp and elegant. On the red carpet, the “Scream Queens” actress frequently wears kitten and stiletto-heeled pointed-toe pumps, mules and sandals, hailing from top brands including Christian Louboutin. Over the years, Curtis has also been spotted in strappy sandals from a range of brands, including Nine West. When off-duty, the actress can be spotted in neutral-toned thong sandals and New Balance sneakers.
“Freaky Friday 2” is an upcoming fantasy-comedy film directed by Nisha Ganatra and written by Jordan Weiss. Little is known about the sequel to the beloved original “Freaky Friday” based on Mary Rodgers’s 1972 novel but a post made to Disney’s official Instagram on July 18 confirmed the movie would be released in 2025. The film draws on original cast members like Chad Michael Murray, Lindsay Lohan and Curtis.
