Jared Leto was (briefly) a Florida man while on tour. Star even went to Disney World
Jared Leto couldn’t let a chance for a little cross promotion go to waste over the weekend in Florida.
The musician-actor was in the Sunshine State on the Seasons tour with his band Thirty Seconds to Mars. Leto had two stops, one in West Palm Beach, Friday, where he later danced by the ocean, and the next night, Tampa.

Taking a well deserved break from being a rock star, the 52-year-old Oscar winner also carved out some time to hit up Disney World in Orlando to try out the Tron Lightcycle Run thrill ride that opened last year.
“Speed across a world with no horizons in a high-stakes race based on the Disney sci-fi film TRON: Legacy,” reads the description, which adds the lightning fast attraction takes place in the dark and has “big drops.”
Leto had a good reason to be hopping on this thing, beside just needing an adrenaline rush. He happens to not only be the star but one of the producers of the upcoming sequel called “Tron: Ares,” the third in the franchise. The Louisiana native plays the title AI character, “a highly sophisticated program” sent from the digital world to the real world on a dangerous mission.
“When in Florida,” said Leto’s caption.

A bunch of the “House of Gucci” star’s followers were impressed that not only someone his age would tackle this the ride (“Isn’t bro pushing 60 or sumn?”) but also doing it while wearing ear buds (“The AirPod while on a coaster is next level brave, dude.”).
Still, others appreciated that Leto, despite his Hollywood cred, was still accessible and humble, and hanging with regular folks at the theme park.
“You’re one of us, Jared,” wrote one fan. “Not a posh VIP.”
