Whether you watched it when it aired or caught up with it in the last few decades, My So-Called Life was essential teen drama TV viewing.
One of the 1990s touchstone's most famous cast members is Jared Leto, who you've since seen in things like Suicide Squad and House of Gucci.
In April of 2020 (yes, the beginning of the pandemic), the cast of My So-Called Life had a Zoom reunion. Almost everyone showed up — except Jared Leto.
So, what's the deal? Variety finally got around to asking him, and...I'm not sure things are any clearer.
"No idea," he said when he was asked why he wasn't there. “I hope everyone had a good time without me.”
OK...but was he even invited? Don't ask him — or do ask him, but don't expect a straight answer.
“I’m sure I was. I would’ve hoped," he replied, before saying, "Maybe I wasn’t."
"No, I’m sure I was," he said again, before clearly deflecting the topic from being discussed any further. "What a crazy time we’re in. Not everyone’s able to make everything.”
