Jason Aldean's Net Worth Could Probably Buy an Entire Small Town
Jason Aldean's net worth in 2024 comes largely from singing about small towns, but his fortune is more akin to big-city bigwigs.
The country crooner is one of the highest earners in the genre, thanks to brand deals (like Teabird, an alcoholic sweet tea, and his own line of bourbon) and especially to touring, as well as smart real estate deals.
Citing his management and PR teams for music and general managers of his restaurants, Aldean explained to R&L Wealth Partners, "Surrounding yourself with the right team, the right people who have the same vision as you, that's the key to any successful business."

How did Jason Aldean become famous?
Jason Aldean was born Jason Aldine Williams on Feb. 28, 1977, in Macon, Georgia. His father taught him to play guitar at a young age, and he began performing at local VFW halls when he was just 14, then expanded to local talent contests and venues. He used a form of his middle name as a stage name to differentiate himself from other Jason Williamses, and he began writing and performing original songs after high school.
Aldean first moved to Nashville in 1998 when he signed with Warner-Chappell, but was dropped before achieving major success, then signed and dropped from another label in 2000 after his recording sessions kept getting moved. His debut self-titled album was released in 2005, bolstered by No. 1 Hot Country Songs single "Why" and several other charting hits, including "Hicktown" and "Amarillo Sky." The album sold 1 million copies and was certified platinum.
Aldean followed up with his sophomore album Relentless, which was also certified platinum, and he's been going strong ever since.
Aldean achieved more mainstream notoriety in October 2017 for tragic reasons: The largest-scale mass shooting in American history occurred while he was onstage at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, killing 60 and injuring 867. Days later, Aldean performed a cover of Tom Petty's "I Won't Back Down" on Saturday Night Live in tribute to the victims and survivors.

"As artists, we all want to own our music. I think I can kind of speak for all artists when I say, that's a piece of art, we created it and we made it, and it sucks that someone else gets ownership of that forever," he told R&L Wealth Partners. "For me, I've redone my deal a few times where I've signed on to do more albums, and each time, I've wanted to go back in. I wanted to own more of my stuff."
He added that his record label has been a great partner in garnering ownership of his art.
"Obviously the reason you want to own that, that's almost like a retirement plan," Aldean explained. "So honestly, I didn't even know that I wanted to really sell it. I just put some feelers out to see if anyone was interested, and it turned out alright!"
