Jason Benetti to host comedy show for charity with Detroit Tigers players in July
Members of the Detroit Tigers team – both on the field and in the broadcast booth – will join forces with professional comedians for a comedy night to benefit charity next month.
The Tigers announced an exclusive comedy show, named "Hits and Giggles," hosted by TV play-by-play announcer Jason Benetti alongside unnamed players and professional comedians at the Detroit House of Comedy on July 11 at 7 p.m.

Standard tickets, which include all-inclusive food and drinks during the show and admission to the after-show event, cost $350. The VIP package, which includes access to a cocktail hour with a chance to meet players before the event and Tigers memorabilia, costs $500.
No cell phones will be allowed during the event and will be locked in special pouches to prevent any recording of the show. The VIP event begins at 5:30 p.m. before the show and the after-show event, named "Extra Innings," on Columbia Street is slated to start at 9:00 p.m.
