Jason Derulo responds to Instagram banning his underwear photo: 'I can't help my size'
Jason Derulo is too hot for Instagram.
The "Whatcha Say" singer, 30, called out the social media platform for removing a steamy photo he posted on Nov. 21 that went viral. In it, he was wearing nothing but form-fitting black underwear as he stood in shallow water.
He posted the note from Instagram saying the revealing picture, which accentuated his manhood, violated the company’s “community guidelines on nudity or sexual activity” — as well as the original photo.
“[F***] u mean? I have underwear on...” the Cats star wrote. “I can’t help my size.”
Derulo also used his Instagram Stories to complain about the censorship.
"Y'all ain't gonna believe this,” he said. “Instagram took down my Bali pic! They took down my Bali pic! Hey, listen, all these girls showing their a** and all kinds of crazy s**t and I have underwear on in Bali and they took my pic down. It's discrimination. Like, I understand, I can't help my size, but you can't take down my pic."
The original photo, posted last month, certainly had people talking — and zooming. And he got in on the fun. When one commenter asked what type of animal was hiding in his briefs, Derulo replied, “anaconda.”
Derulo vacationed in Bali last year. He shared a snapshot at the time, but he was further away and posed with his side to the camera.
On this new post, there have been cries for “Justice for Jason” but in a tongue in cheek way — with eggplant emojis and anatomy jokes.
TMZ caught up with Derulo who said he was “hot at first” over the photo ban, but now he just finds it “funny.” In a previous interview with the website, he denied that the photo was enhanced, quipping, “Photoshop?! Photoshop?! Man don’t make me... Just know … us Haitians, we look different.”
Derulo has also made the banned photo his profile photo on the site, on which he has 5.1 million followers.
