Jason Kelce Expresses Unfiltered Opinion on Highly-Popular Fall Flavored Foods

True fans of Jason Kelce's may already be aware of his disapproval of scented candles, but now, the retired Philadelphia Eagles center is airing his grievances with another very specific (and highly-popular, especially around this time of year) group of items.

On the latest episode of he and brother Travis Kelce's New Heights podcast, the NFL great expressed his unfiltered opinion on pumpkin-flavored foods, bluntly calling them "overrated."

While answering a fan question about whether the Kelce bros "like Pumpkin Spice Lattes" or anything pumpkin spice-flavored, for that matter, they each had a pretty clear answer.

"Don't know, never had one," they both responded, making it clear that they haven't cared enough to indulge in the hyped beverage, with Travis admitting that he really only does pumpkin seeds in his oatmeal.

"Pumpkin seeds are pretty good, I'll agree with that," Jason chimed in.

They then ventured off into talking about pumpkin pie, which also doesn't seem to be a favorited sweet item among them. "I don't mind pumpkin pie in the right environment—it's a little cold outside, I see some leaves changing—for some reason, I get the itch to have some, but in general, I think pumpkin's an overrated flavor," the dad of three said.

He further explained his indifferent opinion on the fall flavored food items, doubling down, "It's similar to a lot of these advertising trends that people will do to try and get you to commerce their businesses, or making up national holidays like it means a damn thing just to get you to buy whatever product that holiday is selling."

He continued: "So in general, I do not fall victim to the Pumpkin Spice Lattes, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin cakes. Probably the only thing I fall victim to is buying some of those cute little pumpkins to put on my front porch. And I do look forward to making some jack-o-lanterns this year with the girls, that'll be a fun project."

"Make sure you share—that'll be a fun project as well," Uncle Trav replied, before agreeing, "I'm right there with you, I'm not a big pumpkin anything other than pumpkin seeds in my granola, and that's just 'cause they're beneficial."

While the duo of pro footballers aren't particularly fans of pumpkin-flavored food items, Travis, did, however, admit that he's "in on seasonal stuff, though."

"I like a fall, harvest cup of joe," the Catching Kelce alum noted, as his big bro pushed back, insisting that what he described is, in fact, a Pumpkin Spice Latte.

"It's not pumpkin, though, it's just like a cinnamon spice," the three-time Super Bowl champ clarified. "I am in on coffee being seasonal—I think sometimes it just matches the air; it just connects perfectly."

"Should I try my first Pumpkin Spice Latte?" Jason then wondered, saying, "Looks like I'm going to Starbucks tomorrow."

If nothing else, maybe fans can listen out for an entertaining Jason Kelce Pumpkin Spice Latte review coming soon. Only time will tell!
