Jason Kelce Reveals Wife Kylie’s New House Rule for Him Post-Retirement
As Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie continue to adjust to their life since Jason retired from football, the former Philadelphia Eagles player shared the new house rule Kylie introduced to keep everything running smoothly.
Jason sat down with Chris Long, Beau Allen and Brent Celek for the new episode of the podcast Green Light with Chris Long, which is a production of Yote House Media, to talk about a variety of topics, including Kylie's rule.
Chris brought up the topic, asking Jason, "Can you share the Kylie rule?"
Noting that Kylie had "just implemented this," the former football player said, "I have to work out a minimum of three days a week, otherwise she doesn't want to deal with me."
Chris supported Kylie's ruling, talking about how a lot of professional athletes struggle after retirement due to not having constant physical activity like they did when they were playing, saying, "We don't feel right unless we work out...If I don't work out, I'm like tough to deal with.”
"Same. And that's why she's implemented this rule," Jason explained. "When I've worked out, I am in a great mood, I interact well at home with my kids and everybody –– I just am a better person.”
Jason also credited his wife for the couple's popularity at the Olympic Games in Paris, France, saying, "If I was not with Kylie, I guarantee they would f------ hate me. They deal with me because I'm with Kylie.”
He shared that Kylie "speaks impeccable French" and wondered if that helped them look better to locals during the visit.
Jason retired from football after the 2023 season, and soon enough, he will start the next stage of his career as an analyst for Monday Night Countdown, using his personal experience and great expertise on football to talk about the upcoming season's games.
