Jason Kelce Sends Bold Message to Taylor Swift’s Competitors Ahead of Next Awards Show
Jason Kelce is declaring his Swiftie status loudly and proudly!
On the latest episode of his and his brother Travis Kelce's New Heights podcast, the former Philadelphia Eagles center showed support for his younger sibling's girlfriend ahead of the VMAs, where the pop star is nominated for 12 awards—the most of any artist for the 2024 awards show.
During the Sept. 11 episode, Jason cheered, "Come on, Tay, let's go, Tay!" while clapping, as Travis chimed in urging his lady to "Stay on top."

"Here we go! Wishing everybody the best, though," the Kansas City Chiefs tight end added, with the dad of three bluntly inserting, "Unless you're up against Tay, then I hope you lose."
At that point, the three-time Super Bowl champ couldn't contain himself, laughing in response to his older brother's bold quip.

This year, Swift received eight nods for her "Fortnight" music video, as well as two nominations in social media categories. She's also up for Best Pop Artist and the highly-coveted Moonman for Artist of the Year. All this just months after releasing her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, and amid her history-making Eras Tour, which is on hiatus until Oct. 18.
Additionally, if the "Lavender Haze" songstress takes home five or more wins during the ceremony, she’ll pull ahead of Beyoncé as the artist with the most VMAs in history (27).
Other popular musicians nominated in the same categories as the superstar include SZA, Post Malone, Ariana Grande, Bad Bunny, Eminem, Sabrina Carpenter, and more.
The 2024 VMAs will air live on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
