Jason Kelce Tells Travis Kelce 'You Should Be Embarrassed' After He Reveals His 'Guilty Pleasure' TV Show
Travis Kelce is coughing up a key piece of intel about himself that many people wouldn't admit in their lifetimes, and brother Jason Kelce says he "should be embarrassed" by the admission.
The lore came during the latest episode of their podcast, New Heights, when, during the "No Dumb Questions" segment, one listener asked the two to reveal their "guilty pleasures [sic] shows," A.K.A., "something you're slightly embarrassed to admit."
The two originally asserted that they weren't embarrassed by any of their choices. "I'm not embarrassed, I don't watch anything," Jason first joked, while Travis said, "I don't care, you can't judge me, dude. It is what it is."
"Right? I like what I like," Jason replied.
But then Travis whipped out an old favorite that he kept to himself when he was younger, sharing, "I used to not tell everybody that I watched Gossip Girl growing up."
"You watched Gossip Girl?" Jason asked, dumbfounded. "You should be embarrassed about that."
"Dude, it's so good, though," Travis defended. "Dude, if you watch it, you can get in deep."
"Are you talking about Gilmore Girls?" Jason tried to clarify. "What show is Gossip Girls [sic]?"
"No, Gossip Girls [sic]," he confirmed, going on to list off the stars when Jason said he'd never heard of it, including Taylor Swift's bestie Blake Lively.
"Oh, okay, nice," Jason changed his tune.
"It's awesome," Travis continued to praise the teen drama. "It's like a New York high school show with a lot of drama, and basically everybody gossiping and talking s—t on each other."
He used that as an opportunity to segue into his current television obsession, The Traitors, which Jason has also been watching "because of [Travis'] strong recommendation."
If you're unfamiliar, it's based on a childhood game that also goes by the name Mafia, in which a select number of people from a group are chosen to be the "bad guys," or the "traitors." The traitors will work together to remove another member of the group, and the rest of the group needs to try to figure out who the traitors are in each round of the game.
Travis threw their names into the ring for a future season, noting that Jason would "crush it on Traitors"—though Jason didn't feel he was "savvy enough" for the role—but we hope the producers are New Heights listeners because we'd certainly like to tune into that!
